Blueberry preservation

Fresh blueberries can be kept more than a week in the refrigerator. After harvesting, put them on a plate in thin layers for about an hour to evaporate the excess humidity (morning dew). Next, put them in the refrigerator in a hermetic bowl. Freezing them is easy: after drying the blueberries in open air for an hour, put them in a freezer bag or plastic bowl, then in the freezer. You don’t need to add sugar. When you unfroze them, blueberries stay relatively firm (more than strawberries and raspberries) since they don’t loose their moisture.
