Apple preservation after self picking

Handled with care, apples are easier to preserve. Store them in perforated plastic bags, in the refrigerator drawer. If you buy in large quantities, store them in a cold room at a temperature between 0 and 4 °C, and cover them with perforated plastic sheets. This will help them keep their moisture. You can freeze apples, in quarters or slices but never whole.
